Spring in my Room
Easter special: Egg Box Gift
Cut the Paper in very small pieces. On the top and all the sides of the Box put some liquid paper Glue and sprinkle small Paper pieces while the glue is still wet. When the Box is dry, put some colored hard-boiled Eggs or some Candy in it and wrap it as a Present.
Children will be thrilled!
Easter special: Hen from Felt and Fabric
In order to make these cute Hens you need some Fabric and Felt pieces and a piece of rope for the tail.
In the beginning cut 2 Fabric (or Felt) pieces in the same shape as in Picture A, then cut 2 Felt pieces for comb and beak. Next sew together 2 pieces of Fabric, that you’ve cut out before, with the 2 Felt pieces and a piece of Rope in between, like in Picture A.
Once you’ve done that fill the Hen with some Cotton Pads or some fabric and sew the Hen together like in Picture B.
With some imagination you can make your Hen even prettier with the help of 2 Buttons for the eyes and some Felt pieces for the legs.
Fried Mars
Yesterday I found some really good and easy recipe for the times you are in great need for something sweet - Fried Mars
The ingredients are:
- 1 Mars Chocolate
- 1 spoon of All-Purpose Flour and 1 spoon of Corn Flour
- a pinch of Baking Powder
- 2-3 spoons of Milk
- Oil
Directions:
1.Put Mars Chocolate in the Freezer for a while – it mustn't froze, it just has to be cool so that the inner part of the Chocolate doesn't leak during frying
2.Mix All-Purpose and Corn Flour together then add Baking Powder, Milk and mix some more until you get a thick mixture.
3.Put Mars Chocolate in the mixture so that it is covered from all sides
4.Lay Mars in hot Oil and fry it until it's golden brown
5.Serve it with Ice Cream or with French Fries
Bon Appetit!
Clay Candle Holders N2
I also made these two Candle Holders from Clay. I used the same technique as with the one I described earlier.
On the black and white Candle Holder I glued some red plastic stones to make it more sparkly. This time I painted the Candle Holders using Poster Colors. When the paint was dry I protected them with clear shining Varnish.
The last thing I did was to put Candle Wicks and pour some Beeswax in the homemade Candle Holders. Natural and Easy!
Clay Candle Holder with Napkin Technique
Such Candle Holder can be a great gift for your friends and family especially if you pour natural Beeswax in.
To begin, you create a cup-shaped Candle Holder using modelling clay. Then you let it air dry for a day.
To make it more beautiful you can decorate it using Napkin Technique that I explained you before. When you are done you can make yourself a natural candle so that you put a Candle Wick in your Candle Holder and pour in some Beeswax that you melted over low heat using water.
It smells great and it's natural!!!
Glass with Napkin Technique
This Glass was the first thing I made using Napkin Technique.
In order to make it you need some Varnish & Glue (such as ART POTCH Varnish & Glue) and some very cute Napkins.
First you apply on the Glass and after that only the upper layer of the Napkin. You can use the whole Napkin or cut some pieces that you like. When you are done you have to apply one more layer of Varnish & Glue and let it air dry for several hours.
And that's it.
Flowers from Felt
Here are some Flowers, that I made using different colors and thickness of felt.
To make a Flower like that, you have to cut out 3 different sized flowers from felt.
Next you sew together these three pieces with the same colored thread. You can also put some bling on top. Enjoy!
Earrings From Clay N1
I like to make my own Jewellery, because I make them in the colours, that I like and shapes that fit my style. These are some of the Earrings, that I made from Clay and some wire. I hand shaped Earrings using DAS Modelling Clay. Then I let them to air dry for one day. After that I painted them with poster colors and when the paint was dry, I sprayed them with a clear varnish and attached to hooks.
I hope I gave you ideas to make your own Jewellery too.
